In addition to the Department's ongoing event-based fundraising, charitable donations to the auxiliary branch of the Rough and Ready Fire Station help provide equipment, training, and station essentials.

Currently, we collect donations at three different locations: the Baked Potato Booth at the Nevada County Fair every August, our farmer's market booth during the summer, and at our monthly Spaghetti Dinner, held every third Thursday of each month at the Rough and Ready Fire Station, located at 14506 Rough and Ready Hwy.

In the last year, fundraising efforts were able to supply storage lockers for the on-site dormitory, as well as a chest compression device for use during emergency calls. We are currently raising money to send a Rough and Ready fire fighter to paramedic school. Your generous support is impactful and greatly appreciated!
